Tour Itinerary:
The day begins early in the morning with a transfer from Cusco to the community of Pacchanta , located at approximately 4,200 meters above sea level. During the journey, you will enjoy panoramic views of the snow-capped Ausangate and the surrounding mountains, as well as small Andean towns that preserve their ancestral traditions and customs.
Upon arriving at Pacchanta , we will begin our walk towards the 7 lagoons, a moderate tour of approximately 5 hours. Along the route, we will encounter the beautiful lagoons of Azulcocha , Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha , Qomercocha , Patacocha , and the impressive Huchuy Pucacocha Lagoon . Each of these lagoons offers a unique natural spectacle, with waters that vary in shades of blue and green, reflecting the sky and the mountains that surround them.
During the trekking , we will also have the opportunity to observe Andean fauna, such as llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and if we are lucky, the majestic Andean condor. Our expert guide will tell you stories and legends about the region, as well as the spiritual importance of the mountains and lagoons to local communities.
After completing the route of the 7 lagoons, we will return to Pacchanta , where you can relax in the natural hot springs, enjoying a well-deserved rest while contemplating the impressive views of Ausangate. Finally, we will return to Cusco in the afternoon, arriving in the city at sunset.
