Tour Itinerary:
Early Release:
Our tour begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We will go by private transportation to the starting point of the walk, located in the community of Cusipata , about 3,600 meters above sea level.
Start of the Walk:
From Cusipata , we will begin a walk of approximately 3 hours (one way), passing through dreamlike landscapes, where you can observe the typical flora and fauna of the Andean region. As we ascend, the colors of the mountain will begin to appear, revealing the spectacular Rainbow Mountain before your eyes.
Arrival in Vinicunca:
Once at the top, at 5,200 meters above sea level, you will be rewarded with a 360-degree panoramic view of Rainbow Mountain and its surroundings. The colors of the mountain, the result of the oxidation of minerals such as iron and sulfur, create a natural spectacle that you will not forget. Here you will have time to rest, take photos and enjoy the impressive view.
Descent and Lunch:
After having enjoyed the view, we will begin the descent towards Cusipata , where we will enjoy a delicious typical Andean lunch at a local restaurant. This break will allow you to recharge your batteries before the return trip to Cusco.
Return to Cusco:
After lunch, we will board our private transportation to return to Cusco, arriving at your hotel in the afternoon.
